Experience from the Front Line
Opitulor was founded by Mark Wilson, a specialist in Extremism and Hate Crime with over 17 years of experience as a practitioner and facilitator. Mark’s background spans the criminal justice and community safety sectors, having worked with Leicestershire Police, Victim Support, and various local and national government bodies.
Mark’s unique perspective comes from real-world experience. He doesn’t just teach theory; he brings insights from the front line, helping attendees understand the “why” behind the “what.”
Beyond “Death by PowerPoint”
We know that the subjects we cover—ranging from Prevent Awareness and Far-Right Extremism to Misogyny and the Manosphere—can be heavy and difficult to process. That’s why we’ve abandoned the “Death by PowerPoint” approach.
Our training is designed to be engaging, informative, and interactive. We use a blend of real-life case studies, video content, and a “no-nonsense” delivery style that often includes a necessary touch of humour to keep the mood manageable without ever losing sight of the seriousness of the topic.
